Lilia and Chase said their vows near the water at the Riding River Ranch on the most perfect fall day. The gold and burgundy tones throughout the decor accented the Texas Hill County in the best way. I also loved the handmade touches such as the sign near the wedding tent and block game made…
Amy and Kris’ wedding at The Club at Garden Ridge was a beautiful event bringing two families together. The day was accented with greenery, blush pink and of course navy and blue to tie in the couple’s love for the Air Force.
My favorite part of the day was that I didn’t have to pose Amy or Kris at all. They were all about snuggling up and sneaking in a few kisses during their sunset portrait time.
Anna and Luke were married under the historic open air chapel at the always stunning Gruene Estate. It was a VERY hot July afternoon — but, other than the heat, it was simply perfection. Everything was vibrant and full of love. Their green and coral details were accented in the most amazing way with the gorgeous florals designed by Bluemen Meisters. Another stunning and sweet bride. How do I get so lucky!?! Anna traveled to her wedding venue, Gruene Estate, to capture her bridal portraits. This session was all about beautiful pops of color. From her out of this world bouquet to her crystal clear blue eyes and the saturated tints on the stained glass windows of the chapel, it was a vibrant and fun-filled evening. As always, it was hard to narrow down our favorites. I’ve collected a few of them here, so please enjoy! I’m even more excited to pull together from Anna and Luke’s wedding. Check back shortly for a sampling from their special day.
Let me just say that Mackinley and Christian were the sweetest and most photogenic couple ever! I hope you can feel the love and laughter with each image.
Amy and Scott were married at the Rio Cibilo Ranch in Marion, Texas. All of the festivities took place on the property with the ceremony outdoors facing the creek and the reception following under the cover party area. It was a really fun event to photograph. Special traditions such as the Grand March and the Dajcie Dajcie were a great way to get every up and moving and involved in the celebration. From start to finish, it was a day filled with a few tears (happy ones of course) and lots of love and laughter. The looks between Amy and Scott would absolutely melt your heart. I always have my couples do poses where they smile into each others eyes–and with these two, they couldn’t stop sneaking looks even during the family photos. I loved every second of it! Even better, you could just feel the collective happiness all around. The joining of these two super sweet families was great to witness.
I love weddings out at the Western Sky Wedding and Event venue in Bulverde, Texas. So far, I’ve been blessed with the best couples who have booked their special days there. Hannah and Leelynn were no exception. Their wedding was full of love and laughter as they were surrounded by an amazing group of family and friends. We also had an epic sunset that brightened the sky like fire behind the trees-so there’s that too 😉
I met Hannah and Leelynn out at their wedding venue, Western Sky, in Bulverde, Texas to photograph their engagement session. After months of communicating via email, I was so glad to finally meet this sweet couple.
The first time for me to meet Miranda and Jason was right before their engagement session in the Gruene Historical District near New Braunfels, Texas. As most couples are, they were a little nervous to get started because they had never taken ‘professional’ photos together. I simply let them know that there was absolutely no pressure and that we’d just spend time walking around and having some fun while I got to know them a little better. In no time, they were laughing, I was laughing and we had a great time. This is why I love engagement sessions so much! It really isn’t bad and I promise to make your experience easy-going so I can showcase how you really are as a couple. These two were so sweet and they had an amazing story about how they met and fell in love. I love hearing these stories and I truly believe I’ve been blessed with the best couples imaginable!
Valerie and Jason were both so sweet and amazing to work with. They were married at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stockdale, Texas with the reception following next door at Kosciusko Hall. Despite having family and friends absent due to COVID, they were in the best spirits and everything came together perfectly. It truly was a fantastic event. So much so, that the reception went by in a flash and many, including the newlyweds, were not ready to leave after the sparkler exit.
Sean and Chandra were married at Magnolia Halle, an urban barn, in northwest San Antonio. Surrounded by their loved ones, it was a beautiful event (albeit somewhat of a whirlwind). I love the colors. The emerald and gold accents were the perfect way to bring out the warmth of the venue. With a great setting, good food and fun people to be around, you just can’t ask for much more.
A vineyard, a gorgeous reception hall and ALL the Christmas trees! It’s what wedding dreams are made of. MacKenzie and Cody were finally joined together in marriage (after meeting in the second grade!!)–and it was basically an even better version of any Hallmark movie you could imagine.
Hunter and Rob’s wedding at The Allen Farmhouse was so much fun to photograph. I love this location because everything you need is right there onsite. Another great benefit is the access to wide open skies at sunset. We were blessed with some beautiful color that evening and the results were magical! Congrats again to…
Classic beauty! I love how all of Hunter’s bridal photos turned out. We were blessed with a beautiful afternoon on the day of her session and we could have not asked for better light. I’m not sure what else to say other than she looks stunning in them all! It’s always fun to get to post a bridal session after waiting so patiently for the day of the wedding. Scroll down below to see some of my favorites 🙂
Celina and Brett had a gorgeous wedding at the Geronimo Oaks Wedding Venue in Seguin, Texas. I loved how the navy, burgundy and cream details came together. All of the beautiful textures and florals were especially breathtaking for this one.
For their engagement photos, I met Chandra and Sean out at Chandra’s alma mater – The University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. It was a great afternoon! Let’s face it, taking photos can sometimes feel strange —especially when someone you just met asks to you to snuggle and flirt in public (…yes, I routinely tell my couples to “ABC”…Always. Be. Cuddling!) Not surprisingly, Chandra and Sean were natural pros and did absolutely amazing with each new pose we tried.
Victoria and Bruce put together a beautiful fall and Halloween themed wedding at one of my favorite venues – Gruene Estate. All of the details came together perfectly. Not to mention, we had an absolute gorgeous day. Combine that with a wonderful group of family and friends, and it was a party to remember. Scroll down below for a sampling of what we captured. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Corder!!
Lashelle and Jerome were married at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bandera, Texas. After the ceremony, the couple surprised their guests by having two beautiful horses, Wyatt and Bubba, ready for them to depart curtesy of Bandera Historical Rides.
What a day! Cody and Destiny’s wedding out at Rackler Ranch was an unforgettable one to photograph. The day was such a whirlwind and there were so many great details and things happening all at once– it was hard to capture it all! The property had so much to offer. From the amazing areas attached to the reception hall for the couple and wedding party to get ready, to the ceremony spot out by a pond, everything was carefully planned out and looked amazing. I’m thankful that we also had time to watch a beautiful sunset out by the water where we took some stunning portraits of Destiny and Cody as man and wife.
It was a hot afternoon when I met Destiny near downtown Gruene, Texas to take her bridal portraits. Even though it was pretty crowded, we found some great textures to feature her dress. From the rustic wooden steps that highlighted her gorgeous train, to the tucked away little nooks with amazing backlight, it was all dreamy. I had a great time walking around with Destiny, her mom and her grandmother finding the best locations.
