I’ve never really liked using props in my photography, but this beautiful horse wasn’t a prop. I loved him in these portraits! As part of Mikayla’s birthday photos this year, we took them alongside her horse, Santana. The family has owned Santana for much of his 17 years and now he’s experiencing some health issues. I’m so glad we were able to get some nice shots of them together to cherish.
