I had the pleasure of meeting Marisa and her family at the McNay Art Museum to celebrate her sixteenth birthday. It was so much fun to walk around goof off for a bit with her mom, dad and sister in tow. Thankfully, it was a gorgeous afternoon that proceeded a bleak and rainy morning. It cleared up just in time and we even had rays of sun peaking through the trees before we finished. I also adored the props they brought to the session. From the delicate bouquet of white and yellow flowers to the cupcake, cascarones (confetti eggs)–and my favorite–the Chicago Bears hat that her dad (a die hard fan) insisted on taking at least one photo with. The look on her face on the last shot sums up her excitement about putting on the hat for her dad–you’ll know which one I’m referring to, I promise 😉
