Sean and Chandra were married at Magnolia Halle, an urban barn, in northwest San Antonio. Surrounded by their loved ones, it was a beautiful event (albeit somewhat of a whirlwind). I love the colors. The emerald and gold accents were the perfect way to bring out the warmth of the venue. With a great setting, good food and fun people to be around, you just can’t ask for much more.
As mentioned, the color scheme was amazing but they also incorporated some other great details to make it truly unique. From the memory tree, a special locket for the bouquet, the napkins and a wedding cake that featured Sean and Chandras beloved pets, to a truly remarkable groom’s cake (this was the first time one of my bridal photos made it on a cake!), there were some really special pieces. A collection of live succulents were also put out for guests as take home favors.
We were pretty short on light that evening but we still managed to sneak in some amazing portraits to commemorate their first moments of being a married couple. With both the ceremony and the reception in the same spot, guests were able to go to the Biergarten at the fantastic Magnolia Pancake Haus next door for the cocktail hour while seating was set out. After that, the party started and it was a great time all the way leading up to their sparkler exit.
