How do you instill a sense of color and vibrance on a cold and wet winter day? The key for Rachel and Clayton’s wedding was equal parts amazing florals, bold colors and great people.
Looking through the images we captured, it’s hard to tell what weather conditions we were dealing with and it certainly didn’t dampen this sweet couple’s spirits! Rachel was a rock star wearing a sleeveless dress for most of the day. I was bundled up and felt like a popsicle most of the time.
Gruene Estate is a wonderful venue tucked away in New Braunfels. It offers a one-stop shop with great cottages for the wedding party to get ready as well as a chapel and reception area. We had misty skies and 40 degrees or less all day, but we made it work. The heaters were working overtime!
One of my favorite decor elements of the day were the greenery installments around the lighting and chapel door. Just that little pop of color was a magical background to the reds, burgundy and pink florals.
Scroll through below to see a sampling from their day from start to finish. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Michaud!!!
