I love when I get to take a short break from weddings and photograph senior portraits! For Grace’s senior pics, we met out at the beautiful Historic Pearl in San Antonio, Texas. A lot of people choose this spot for photos for good reason. There is so much variety and beautiful light/textures in every corner of this place! For a January session, we were lucky that the weather was quite pleasant. A little cool but no wind and beautiful light. You can’t ask for much more.

Matthew’s Senior Session
Matthew was the quintessential perfect subject to photograph for his senior session. Sweet and well-mannered, he did awesome moving through a ton of poses in a short amount of time. We met at The Historic Pearl in San Antonio, Texas on a busy Sunday morning and even though the farmer’s market was in full swing, we still found some quiet spots to take his photos. Please join me in congratulating Matthew for his hard work leading up to the acceptance into Texas A&M’s mechanical engineering program. Best of luck!! Sarah UIW Senior
This summer, Sarah graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with her Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science. She was also a member of the Pre-Optometry Professional Society on campus. Beautiful both inside and out, it was extremely hard to pick our favorites from the images we captured that evening. For a sampling of the photos, scroll down through the post below. Congrats again to Sarah!
Casey Senior
I was honored when Casey and her mom contacted me about capturing her senior photos based on a referral they received. We had a great afternoon walking around The Pearl in San Antonio. I have done sessions out there quite often, but I’m still finding different angles and places with great light and texture! I love the variety it has throughout the various times of the year. And how amazing does Miss Casey look!
2016 Year at a Glance
Wow! As a busy mom and wife it’s hard to imagine how it was possible to have had so many great sessions this past year. As many of you know, photography isn’t my full time gig, but it is my love, passion and all consuming hobby. In 2016, I was very fortunate to have a broad spectrum of clients and occasions. From newborns, maternity, extended families, high school seniors, engagements/weddings, prom and more, I met so many awesome people and started getting more repeat clients coming back to me for the second and third year in a row. I feel really blessed to be able to have this outlet for my creativity and that so many have trusted me to capture these special moments.

This was the second time I was able to photograph Meriah this year. This time, we met at The Pearl in San Antonio for a quick senior session before she graduated from the University of Incarnate Word.
Amber
Amber was a joy to photograph. Her joy and infectious spirit are evident in every photo she took.

Another great senior session in Gruene. It really never disappoints.
Nick
Nick took his senior photos with his best friend, Natalie, in Gruene this year. I had a wonderful afternoon getting to know them both and their families. I really do have the best luck with meeting such sweet and genuine people.
