Jaclyn Maternity

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to work with the Tollackson family and I’ve missed them! Levi was still a baby back then –but now he’s waiting on the arrival of his new brother or sister (it will be a surprise!). For this session (during our new COVID era), I met the Tollacksons out at their property so we could still practice proper social distancing.

Celina + Brett

We were finally able to reschedule Celina and Brett’s engagement session after a few missed tries due to the craziness of the 2020 pandemic sweeping the nation. And…it was worth the wait! To stay away from public places, I met this sweet pair out on our family property in La Vernia, Texas. Sessions out there are always my favorite because I get to showcase some of the gorgeous hidden spots on the land where I grew up. We were blessed with pretty light and no mosquitoes this evening — but, we did have to combat some CRAZY wind bursts and grasshoppers jumping all around. Both Celina and Brett were troopers and we had fun trying to find ways to keep Celina’s beautiful wrap dress from blowing away while photographing.

Valerie + Sam Wedding

I’m thrilled to be sharing these images as it was my first wedding to photograph after the necessary hiatus of pretty much everything due to COVID-19. And let just me say… I’ve missed this! Sam and Valerie were finally able to have the wedding of their dreams at the gorgeous property of Texas Old Town in Kyle, Texas. After months and months of planning, they luckily did not have to wait too long after their original wedding date to host the event.

Valerie Bridals

I’m so glad that I finally get to share this bridal session! We had to reschedule several times due to the craziness that COVID-19 brought about; but, thankfully, we were able to meet up on Valerie’s original wedding date to finally capture these photos. It was a picturesque evening. A little hot, but no heavy wind and a pretty sunset. The best of what Texas has to offer! I met Valerie, her mom and her bridal squad at a gorgeous property in Boerne, Texas and we couldn’t have found a better place if we tried. With Longhorns roaming freely, rustic outbuildings and wooden fences, it fit perfectly with Valerie’s rustic vibe. Scroll down below to see a sampling from her favorite poses captured!

Jackie + Tee

During these crazy times, let’s take a minute to throw some love to all the engaged couples out there — and those who are planning weddings. I have the most amazing couples and though we’ve had to open our calendars and move many of the events, I’m looking forward to the day we can have big gatherings and celebrations once again.

Hunter + Rob

Oh how I love these photos! Hunter and Rob did amazing during their engagement session — and let me tell you, it was hard to narrow down our favorites. Engagement sessions are always one of my favorites because they give me the opportunity to really get to know my couples a little better before the wedding. So far, I’ve had the most amazing luck at this particular location. I’d say it absolutely was yet another magical experience on the big granite dome dominating the center space of the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.

Kasie + Cody Wedding

Cody and Kasie’s navy and burgundy themed wedding at The Allen Farmhaus in New Braunfels was a blast. I say this all the time, but I have been so fortunate that the best couples have booked me over the years.

Valerie + Chaz

I met Valerie and Chaz out at The Historic Pearl in San Antonio on Super Bowl Sunday this February. We had a great time walking about and finding the myriad of beautiful textures in and around the property.

Grace Senior Photos

I love when I get to take a short break from weddings and photograph senior portraits! For Grace’s senior pics, we met out at the beautiful Historic Pearl in San Antonio, Texas. A lot of people choose this spot for photos for good reason. There is so much variety and beautiful light/textures in every corner of this place! For a January session, we were lucky that the weather was quite pleasant. A little cool but no wind and beautiful light. You can’t ask for much more.

Perla + Nick Wedding

Nick and Perla tied the knot at the Western Sky Wedding and Event Venue in Bulverde, Texas among family, friends and a clear blue January sky. The emerald green, white and gold theme was perfectly incorporated throughout every detail! I was especially grateful that I was able to capture a small part of their wedding (I was only there for three hours!) because I was also there to capture Nick’s proposal to Perla last summer.

Lauren + Brandon

I absolutely loved spending time with Brandon and Lauren during their engagement session at the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. We had the best time walking around the enormous granite dome and finding some amazing pockets of light. This was the second December in a row that I was asked to photograph engagements here —and once again, we were blessed with 70+ degree weather and no heavy winds. It was warm, but all in all an idyllic setting for a magical evening.

Brittany + Drew

Brittany and Drew were married in New Braunfels on November 16, 2019. Both their ceremony and reception took place near the center of downtown where not hours the day before, there was a large fire on the property where Wursfest is held each year. Quite literally…right across the street from the Knights of Columbus Hall!! Luckily, all was good and this did not effect the day’s festivities.

Kayla Maternity

Something about a beautiful sunset and maternity photos goes SOOO well together—don’t you agree?!? Kayla and Andrew met me out in La Vernia on our family’s property for a perfect October evening to take her maternity photos. We had little wind, gorgeous light and no mosquitoes (so I’d say it was near perfect)! Kayla was ever the glowing mom-to-be and her floral dress was just right against the backdrop of the greenery as the sun set through the leaves.

Jessica + Curtis Wedding

Curtis and Jessica were married at the Hollow Creek Ranch in St. Hedwig, Texas. This working ranch was the ideal spot for this sweet couple to say their ‘I dos” alongside family and friends.

Jessica’s Bridals

I’ve been waiting so long to share these! We took Jessica’s bridals at the Whitehall Polley Mansion this summer—-and she ROCKED IT!
Dating back to 1847, this will always be one of my favorite spots to photograph. With gorgeous textures, 18″ stone walls and beautiful antique furniture throughout, it’s a photographer’s dream. There are so many picturesque spots to take portraits both inside and outside on the grounds.

Brittney + Zack Wedding

I’ve photographed many types of weddings over the years and I’ve adored them all! Brittney and Zack were no exception. I loved photographing their intimate wedding ceremony at Gruene Estate. With a navy, burgundy and light pink theme, they were married beneath the beautiful open sided chapel on the property. Surrounded by family and friends, Brittney’s dad even presided over the ceremony and gave some wonderful advice to Brittney and Zack before they both spoke their hand-written vows.

Mary Katherine + Alexis Wedding

My first time photographing at the Oak Valley Vineyards venue couldn’t have been any better! Alexis and Mary Katherine were the sweetest couple with two amazing families that know how to have a great time. This was actually Alexis’ and MK’s third wedding (if you count their legal ceremony and their first wedding in France!). With Alexis’ family located abroad, they decided to have their first wedding overseas and then planned the Texas soirée in October.

Jess + Scott Wedding

I knew from the moment that I met Scott and Jess that they would be a great couple to work with. Down-to-earth and incredibly sweet, I loved working with these two!

Jennifer + Cody Wedding

This was a wonderful wedding! Magnolia Bells was the perfect venue to host Jennifer and Cody’s wedding as it melded with their vintage/rustic vibe quite beautifully. Located north of Magnolia, Texas and close to the Woodlands, it was the ideal setting for their intimate ceremony.

Curtis + Resa Wedding

I had a great time at Curtis and Resa’s wedding—which was a pretty big one btw! With around 400 guests in attendance and a large wedding party, it was clear that there wasn’t a shortage of family and friends who wanted to show their support for this sweet couple.
