This was the third time I’ve been able to photograph these sweet sisters. Due to my travel schedule, I had a limited time window where we could take pictures and as mother nature would have it, it was VERY chilly the morning we met for pictures. We had to take a break mid session to warm up their red little noses in the car but the girls did amazing and we got some precious shots of them together and individually.
I was honored when Casey and her mom contacted me about capturing her senior photos based on a referral they received. We had a great afternoon walking around The Pearl in San Antonio. I have done sessions out there quite often, but I’m still finding different angles and places with great light and texture! I love the variety it has throughout the various times of the year. And how amazing does Miss Casey look!
How insanely glowing is this pretty lady! Not only did I get to take April’s maternity photos this weekend, but I was able to catch up with my BFF from college. It’s hard to believe that we’ve known each other for 17 years! For her photos, we choose a more secluded spot in Gruene, TX…
Baylor 6 Months
How sweet is this little girl! Due to some cooler temperatures outside, we had a quick indoor photo session to commemorate Baylor’s six month birthday. I’ve had the pleasure of working with this family many times, including her newborn session, so it was great to see everyone again. It was hard to coax a few smiles out of her at first, but she did amazing when it came to looking directly at the camera. I just can’t get enough of those little cheeks!
I’m so glad that I can finally share some of the bridals taken before Jennifer became Mrs. Winchester! It was overcast the afternoon we took them, but we managed to take advantage of a few rays of sun that peeked through here and there.
Allie turns 8
This was meant to be a mini session to celebrate Allie’s eighth birthday but we ended up with so many great shots it was hard not to share them all! This is just a sampling, but they were all great. It was pretty hard to pick our favorites. With a January birthday, Allie normally has not been able to take pictures outside so we took advantage of the warmer weather (even if it was a little grey) and found some remaining green patches of grass.
Bella Cake Smash
Miss Bella is one! This sweet little nugget is my niece and we were able to take her cake smash photos during her birthday party this weekend. Although we didn’t get many smiles, she really did love the cake. And in an attempt to get a few more laughs, we put on some music and she showed…
I was able to photograph the precious 10 day old Christopher James (CJ) in route to a work trip this January. He was very sleepy at the start but quickly decided to wake up when we rudely stripped him down for pictures. After we had him settled in some comfy blankets, we even got some…
2016 Year at a Glance
Wow! As a busy mom and wife it’s hard to imagine how it was possible to have had so many great sessions this past year. As many of you know, photography isn’t my full time gig, but it is my love, passion and all consuming hobby. In 2016, I was very fortunate to have a broad spectrum of clients and occasions. From newborns, maternity, extended families, high school seniors, engagements/weddings, prom and more, I met so many awesome people and started getting more repeat clients coming back to me for the second and third year in a row. I feel really blessed to be able to have this outlet for my creativity and that so many have trusted me to capture these special moments.
