I’ve been able to photograph Alan and Megan now for several years. I was blessed to be there to photograph Alan’s surprise proposal, their engagements and several family sessions — but my favorite by far was their intimate wedding ceremony under the trees at sunset! It was a beautiful fall day and the simplicity of the hay bails arranged under the trees at the La Vernia C of C Hall was absolutely perfect for their ceremony.  Everything was timed just right so the sunset became a gorgeous backdrop to the entire event as Alan and Megan spoke their vows and were pronounced man and wife.

I’m not sure we could have asked for a better day for this sweet couple. Megan looked stunning in her dress accented with a delicate lace veil, hand stamped necklace and a custom bouquet made by her grandmother. Scroll down below to see a sample of what we captured.
