The Eagle Dancer Ranch is probably one of the most beautiful wedding locations I’ve photographed. With a history dating back to the 1800s, the ranch is located in the breathtaking Sisterdale valley north of Boerne, Texas. It also serves as a protected wildlife habitat. I was fortunate enough to see many of the animals roaming free during both my trips out there for Chelsea’s bridals and on the wedding day. I’m 95% sure I saw a small fox cross my path while driving up the steep paths leading to the oversized party barn (but I can’t say for sure).
Honestly, there wasn’t a dreary place on this property. Each spot was more stunning than the next. Trentin and Chelsea were married in a picture perfect ceremony just before sunset. Chairs were set up under the trees and next to the cliff walls that were adjacent to a serene pond (like I said, picture perfect!). Afterwards, we all headed up to the reception and all I can say is…just. look. at. that. CHANDELIER!
Did I mention that the bridal suite was also incredible?!? Aptly named Casa Blanca, it was a photographer’s dream. Bright white walls and a ton of natural light streaming in made it the perfect spot for the girls to hang out and get ready. The guys also had an amazing spot to get ready as well. Seriously, I think I could have photographed at the ranch for days and found new treasures to take pictures of each passing minute.
Scroll down below to get a sampling from Trentin and Chelsea’s big day. If you’ve followed my posts, you’ll know that I tend to overshare, but I can’t help but spread the love for this amazing place. Just keep scrolling! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Toepperwein!
