My first time photographing at the Oak Valley Vineyards venue couldn’t have been any better! Alexis and Mary Katherine were the sweetest couple with two amazing families that know how to have a great time. This was actually Alexis’ and MK’s third wedding (if you count their legal ceremony and their first wedding in France!). With Alexis’ family located abroad, they decided to have their first wedding overseas and then planned the Texas soirée in October.
This truly was a fun wedding to be a part of. October in Texas can still be pretty warm–and even though temperatures were in the nineties–there was plenty of shade for most of the day. We had blue skies, no heavy winds and I even saw butterflies flying throughout the gardens!
The navy, burgundy and blush theme looked gorgeous among the rows of vines throughout the property, and let’s be honest—Alexis and MK know how to rock an AHH-MAZING portrait! MK wore a beautiful wedding gown with a regal train and veil and then changed during the reception into the most adorable lace party dress and white tennis shoes.
